Do you need wheelchair ramp installation service in Harrisburg, PA? I am a local, independent handyman and I can help you with providing handicap access to your home. If your steps in the front of your house are keeping you or your loved one from being able to enter easily I would be happy to help with building a customizable handicap access ramp to your front door.
Ramp Materials
There are several material options available. You can buy aluminum ramps. These ramps are nice and there are many places to get options that would fit your front door. Here is an example of one you can order through Lowes.
Also, I can build custom wood ramps. The most economical option is to use pressure treated wood. It is a solid option and will last for quite a few years. If you treat the wood regularly it will increase its lifespan. This can also be upgraded to use composite decking material for a better-looking ramp. There are many options that can be added to the railings.
Ramp Cost
To build a basic pressure treated ramp that is around 12 ft long you often get around $1500 into it including supplies and installation. If there are corners or you go with composite materials the price would go higher than that. Contact me to get a quote on your project and discuss the details of what you want to get done at your home.
