I am the person to go to when you want to have a long term handyman that is able to take care of your projects around your home.

I know what it’s like to call a handyman and they say they will come but never show up, or they do show up and it’s not someone you are comfortable to have in your home.

That’s why I started my business to take the stress out of home repairs and upgrades and so you can have a reliable person you trust in your home.

Call me today, and I can help you with Installing a new faucet, upgrading your light fixtures, mounting TV’s, and more.

My Story

From a young age, I’ve always had a passion for fixing things. When I was about 16, my dad owned a small house next door to ours, and he decided to remodel it. My brothers and I jumped in to help, and during that time, I learned a great deal about home repairs.

My dad worked in excavating, and as I got older, I helped him with that, too. By my late teens, I had earned my CDL license and was driving a triaxle truck, learning to operate various types of equipment. I was around new home construction a lot, and although I wasn’t directly involved in every step, I picked up a lot about the process of building homes.

After some time in construction, I switched gears and spent several years teaching at our church school. I loved working with the children there. In 2017, I married my beautiful wife, and together, we worked to establish our home. I also worked for my father-in-law at Cedar Hill Lawn Service, which gave me a steady job, but hoped to be able to establish my own business someday.

In 2020, when the lawn season ended, I decided it was time to take the leap and start my own business. I began by helping my grandpa build a bathroom in the basement of his property, and soon, I was picking up more work. However, in 2021, I left to live in Liberia, where I spent some time serving with an organization. During my time there, I told my 3-year-old daughter I was going to be a handyman when we move back to the States. She said, “You’re not a handyman, you’re a Handydad.” And just like that, the name for my company was born.

We returned to Pennsylvania in the spring of 2024, and I was eager to offer home repair services again. By then, God had blessed us with four children, with a fifth on the way, and we needed to buy a larger home to accommodate our growing family. I was nervous about starting my business, knowing that I had to ensure a reliable income. But I also knew this was the right path to provide for my family and enable my wife to stay home with the children.

Running my business not only allows me to support my family, but it also enables me to help fund education efforts in Africa, even from afar. I truly love what I do. Each job is an opportunity to solve a problem and connect with wonderful people in my community.

I’m so grateful for the journey that brought me here, and I’m excited to keep serving you.
